In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authority. 3. The petitioner’s grievance that in spite of making an application for transfer sometime in 2022, the same has not been considered and is pending before the respondent no. 3. 4. Dr. Sutanu Kumar Patra, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent no. 3 submits that by a communication dated January 9, 2020, the Secretary, West Bengal Central School Service Commission had written to the concerned District Inspector of Schools seeking particulars of the vacancy in the petitioner’s opted school. 5. The concerned District Inspector of Schools has not yet responded to the query dated January 9, 2020. In the meanwhile, the petitioner had filed a writ petition, 2 which was rejected by an order of the Co-ordinate Bench on September 3, 2024. The said order was carried in appeal by the petitioner and was allowed on September 19, 2024. Thus, the petitioner’s application for transfer has revived on account whereof the concerned District Inspector of Schools will provide the requisite information in terms of the communication dated January 9, 2020. Let such information be provided by June 30, 2026 by the District Inspector of Schools to the Commission. 6. In view of the afore-stated, I direct the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal to indicate the vacancies, as sought for by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission in its letter dated December 7, 2022 or any matching vacancy for the petitioner. 7. Let a copy of this order be served upon the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal by the petitioner as well as by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission, to enable the Commissioner of School Education to take appropriate steps in the matter and expedite the same. 8. Since none appears in spite of service, the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this order on the concerned District Inspector of Schools to enable him to take necessary steps in the matter. 3 9. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 10. There shall be no order as to costs. 11.
