GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: The Writ Petition has been filed for the following relief: “…to issue any writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in not completing the investigation and not filing the Final report/Charge Sheet in Crime No.559 of 2024 Dt.01-10-2024 for the offences under Sec.318(4), 351(2), 79 BNS on the file of the Nunna Police Station, of NTR District as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to complete the investigation and file final report/Charge sheet in Crime No.559 of 2024 Dt.01-10-2024 for the offences under Sec.318(4), 351(2), 79 BNS on the file of the Nunna Police Station, of NTR District…” 2. Heard the learned counsel for Petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader. 3. Mr. Rahul Reddy Chaganti, learned counsel for the Petitioner, submits that although the complaint lodged by the Petitioner was registered as Crime No. 559 of 2024, dated 01.10.2024, for the alleged offences under Sections 318(4), 351(2), and 79 of the BNS, on the file of Nunna Police Station, NTR Commissionerate, Respondent No. 3 failed to proceed with the investigation and has not taken steps to file the charge sheet. 4. Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that the entire investigation has been completed and a prima facie case was found against Accused Nos. 1 to 3. A charge sheet was filed before the learned VI ACJM Court, Vijayawada, on 18.12.2025 vide C.F.No.6035/2025, which was returned with certain objections. After compliance, the Investigating Officer re‑filed the charge sheet on 23.04.2026 3 vide C.F.No. 1327/2026 before the learned VI ACJM Court, Vijayawada, and the CC number is awaited. 5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, and in view of the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of as the purpose of the Writ Petition stands achieved. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate, if aggrieved by any findings of the Investigating Officer, by filing a protest petition. 6.
