CMP No.7101 of 2026 The present application has been filed by Shri Prem Chand, President of Lakhdatta Chhinj Committee, Gopalpur, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District, Mandi for granting permission to organize the wrestling/Chhinj in the playground of Government Senior Secondary School, Gopalpur, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, on 15.04.2026, which is a holiday. It has been mentioned that similar order was also passed by this Court, in CMP No.7323 of 2025, on 11.04.2025. Keeping in view the earlier order dated 11.04.2025, the present application is allowed and the applicant is permitted to organize the wrestling/“Chhinj” in the playground of Government Senior Secondary School, Gopalpur, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi, H.P., on 15th April, 2026, on the following conditions: (i) That no damage shall be caused to the property of the School and its playground, where the event is proposed to be organized; (ii) That after the event, the playground shall be handed over to the Principal of the School in a neat and clean condition; (iii) That the law and order shall be maintained by the local administration during the said period; (iv) That the applicant-Committee shall deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/-, in the students welfare fund of the School; and (v) That the applicant shall not use any kind of loudspeaker/amplifier. The application stands disposed of accordingly. CMP No.7106 of 2026 The present application has been filed by Shri Achhar Singh, President of the Chhinj Mela Committee, Bhaderwar, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi for seeking permission to organize the wrestling competition and fair in the playground of Government Senior Secondary School, Bhaderwar, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, on 19.04.2026, which is a Sunday. A copy of the “No Objection Certificate” from the concerned School Management Committee has been appended as Annexure A-2 and reference is also made to an earlier order passed by this Court, in CMP No.5647 of 2025, on 01.04.2025. We are, therefore, persuaded to allow this application and permit the applicant to organize the wrestling competition on 19.04.2026 in the premises of Government Senior Secondary School Bhaderwar, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, on the following conditions:- (i) That no damage shall be caused to the property of the school and its playground, where the event is proposed to be organized; (ii) That after event is convened, the playground shall be handed over to the Principal of the School in neat and clean conditions; (iii) That the law and order shall be maintained by the local administration during the said period; and (iv) That the applicant shall deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/- [Rupees Twenty Thousand] in the Students Welfare Fund of the school.
