2026:JHHC:9230 1 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI Contempt Case (Civil) No. 63 of 2025 Parmanand Kumar, aged about 39 years, s/o Nandkishore Ram, resident of behind labour office, Jail Hata Road, Medininagar, PO & PS-Medininagar, District-Palamu, Jharkhand-822101 ... … Petitioner(s) Versus 1. The State of Jharkhand 2. Surjit Kumar Singh, Deputy Development Commissioner, Latehar, PO & PS-Latehar, District-Latehar-829 206, Jharkhand ... … Respondent(s) CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE DEEPAK ROSHAN For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Khushboo Kataruka, Advocate For the Respondent(s) : Mr. Rahul Saboo, GP-II Mr. Kunal Chandra Suman, AC to GP-II -------- Order No. 09 /Dated: 1st April 2026 The instant contempt case has been filed by the petitioner alleging willful and deliberate disobedience of the order dated 03.09.2024 passed in W.P.(S) No. 2837 of 2022. 2. After going through the fresh reasoned order dated 26.09.2025, it appears that some new ground has been taken for rejecting the claim of the petitioner, however, since the order has been passed pursuant to the order passed by the writ Court, the instant contempt case stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the reasoned order dated 26.09.2025 inasmuch as in the said order the concerned opposite party has taken a stand that the payment made to the petitioner pursuant to Resolution No. 2177 dated 28.07.2015 and Resolution No. 1965 dated 02.06.2017 was wrongly paid. Accordingly, since this is a new cause of action the petitioner would be at liberty to challenge the same. 3. The instant contempt case stands disposed of.
