This Court, vide order dated 24.07.2025, passed in MCRC No. 3945 of 2025, while allowing the bail to the petitioners, namely, Munna Singh and Rajkumar Singh, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Saraipali, District – Mahasamund (C.G.) through learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Mahasamund, District – Mahasamund (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 08.01.2026 has requested for grant of 04 month’s time for concluding the trial. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the present case is at the stage of prosecution evidence, a total of 10 prosecution witnesses are yet to be examined, and the trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Hence, he prays for grant of 04 month’s time for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of 04 months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. 7.
