Today i.e., 04.06.2026, the matter is posted for hearing the arguments of learned counsel for the respondent, but he did not turned up. On 03.06.2026, heard the arguments of the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3. The present transfer petition is filed by the petitioner- wife for transfer of M.C.No.90/2025 filed by the respondent- husband for dissolution of their marriage, from the Senior Civil Judge and J.M.F.C., Turuvekere to the Senior Civil Judge and J.M.F.C., Mandya. 4. The petitioner and the respondent are husband and wife. Their marriage was solemnized on 19.11.2023 as per the Hindu tradition and customs. After the marriage, the petitioner was separated from her husband and came back to her parental house. The petitioner is residing with her aged parents - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:26290 CP No. 66 of 2026 and she is working as software Engineer, working from home in the native place of Ankannanadoddi village, which comes within the jurisdiction of Mandya. The distance from Turuvekere to Mandya is more than 100 kilo metres. It is stated that the respondent is working in Bank as such, it is not even convenient for him to attend the Court at Turuvekere and Mandya is nearest to both the parties. As she is working, it is difficult for her to travel to Turuvekere and her parents are aged, they have no source of income and they cannot accompany her to the Court. 5. Learned counsel for respondent has not turned up. 6. Considering the reasons stated by the learned counsel for petitioner, this Court finds it reasonable to transfer M.C.No.90/2025 filed by the respondent-husband for dissolution of their marriage, from the Senior Civil Judge and J.M.F.C., Turuvekere to the Senior Civil Judge and J.M.F.C., Mandya.
