Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) Learned Additional Advocate General has handed over instructions received from the Executive Engineer, B&R, HPPWD Division, Rohru, dated 10.08.2026, alongwith which, notifications dated 16.01.2025 and 08.04.2026 are also appended. Relevant portion of the instructions read as under: “In the above titled matter, the Execution Petition has been fixed for hearing before the Hon'ble High Court of Himachal Pradesh on dated 11.08.2026. It is submitted that the judgment dated 09.04.2021 passed by the Hon'ble High Court, is being complied with. In pursuance of the aforesaid judgment, the notification under Section 11 of the Land Acquisition Act was issued on 16.01.2025 (Copy enclosed). Thereafter, the notification under Section 19 of the Land Acquisition Act was issued on 08.04.2026 (Copy enclosed). 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 Subsequently, the notice under section 21 forwarded to this office on dated 14.07.2026 by LAC (SZ) Winter field Shimla for service upon the concerned landowners. After arranging the necessary services, the same has been returned to LAC office (SZ) Winter field Shimla for processing the award proceedings. The further proceeding to pass the award is underway and the acquisition proceeding will be completed at the earliest as per the provision of Land Acquisition Act 2013. In view of the above, it is therefore requested to kindly apprise the Hon'ble High Court accordingly and pray for disposal of the present execution petition please.” In the light of this development, this petition is disposed of with the observation that now, needful be done by the State strictly in terms with the Statute concerned and it be ensured that the judgment passed by the Court is implemented in letter and spirit in terms of the Statute.
