Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 02.04.2026 in connection with Meharma P.S. Case No.40 of 2026, registered under Sections 96 and 3 (5) of B.N.S. 2023, now pending in the court of learned J.M. (Judicial Magistrate) 1st Class, Godda. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the victim herself went to Amritsar and stayed with the petitioner. The learned counsel has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. 4. The learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the date of birth of the victim is 01.01.2011, and therefore, she was certainly minor on the date of occurrence and charge sheet has already been submitted under POCSO Act. 5. To this, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the victim has got married with the petitioner. 6. After hearing the learned counsels for the parties and considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, particularly the fact that the victim is a minor, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
