Mr. Gobind Korla, Additional Advocate General, for respondent No.2/State By virtue of the present application, time to deposit 15% of the cheque amount with District Legal Services Authority, Mandi is sought to be extended. For the reasons mentioned in the application, the time is extended by one week. From the perusal of the application, it is evident that on account of non-deposit of the aforesaid amount, in terms of judgment dated 16.12.2024, passed in Cr.MMO No.1264 of 2024, the applicant had been arrested on 03.08.2026 and presently is lodged in Model Central Jail Kanda, Shimla, HP. It is made clear that on furnishing of receipt with respect to deposit of the 15% of the cheque amount with District Legal Services Authority, as ordered in terms of judgment dated 16.12.2024 within the extended time now prescribed, the applicant shall be set free.
