This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking the following prayer: “……pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declare the delay and inaction on the part of the Respondent No.l in registering the FIR in pursuant to the Complaint dated 20.04.2026 made by the Petitioner against the Respondent No.5 and others even inspite of the contents of the complaint clearly disclose the commission of the cognizable offences as arbitrary, illegal and contrary to U/sec. 173(3) of BNSS and in violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent No.1 to register the FIR against the Respondent No.5 and others in pursuant to the Complaint dated 20.04.2026 made by the Petitioner and conduct proper investigation in the interest of justice”. 2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Sri V.Sazidd, learned counsel representing Sri P.Nagendra Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Writ Petition was filed against the inaction of the respondent police in not registering the crime pursuant to the complaint. Subsequent to filing of this Writ Petition, the police authorities have registered the crime. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.
