Counsel for the Petitioner: 1. M M M SRINIVASA RAO Counsel for the Respondent(S): 1. GP FOR CIVIL SUPPLIES The Court made the following: RC,J W.P.No.9183 of 2025 3 ORDER This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of respondent nos. 3 and 4 in cancelling in-charge dealership of the petitioner of shop No.1144022 of Manglampalli Village, Obulavaripalli Mandal of Annamayya District and entrusting the same to respondent no.5, who is also a permanent dealer. 2. Heard Sri M.M.M.Srinivasa Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies. 3. An individual acting as an in-charge or temporary Fair Price Shop (FPS) dealer does not have a vested legal right to continue in that position indefinitely. It is fairly settled that writ petition is generally not maintainable if the petitioner fails to show the infringement of a legal right or a legal injury. Therefore, since the petitioner does not have a vested legal right for seeking the relief, infringement of a legal right does not arise. Hence, the writ petition is not maintainable and the same deserves dismissal. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________________ JUSTICE RAVI CHEEMALAPATI DATE: 21st Day of January, 2026 RR
