HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANAND SHARMA
Order 04/02/2026
1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging order dated 17.06.2025 passed by the Chief Manager, Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, Ajmer Depot, whereby while deciding the representation filed by the petitioner in compliance of earlier
order dated 06.03.2025 passed by this Court in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.8692/2019, dates of grant of 2nd & 3rd selection grades on completion of 18 & 27 years of services have been modified.
2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not aggrieved by the change of date of granting 3rd selection grade on completion of 27 years of service, but is
[2026:RJ-JP:5202] (2 of 2) [CW-18355/2025] aggrieved by extension of date of grant of 2nd selection grade on completion of 18 years of service.
3. Heard and considered submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.
4. It is not disputed by learned counsel for the petitioner that services of the petition were regularized w.e.f. 26.06.1978. It is settled proposition of law that so far as benefit of selection grade is concerned, services of 9, 18 & 27 years are counted from the date of regularization of services and in the instant case, services of the petitioner are counted w.e.f. 26.06.1978.
5. This Court finds that in case the services of 9, 18 & 27 years of the petitioner are counted from the date of regularization, the respondents have not committed any mistake in passing the
order dated 17.06.2025, which is not disadvantageous to the petitioner.
6. In view of the above, there is no scope for interference in the instant writ petition and the same, is hereby, dismissed.
7. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
