Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 2 & 3. On instructions, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that the Second Appeal filed by the petitioner has been numbered as 15446 of 2024. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Second Appeal filed under the Right to Information Act, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.The petitioner is aged 65 years and is a Senior Citizen. Considering the said fact, a direction will have to be issued to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Second Appeal, within a short time. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 12904 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 6.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's Second Appeal. 7.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Second Appeal dated 26.11.2024, which has been numbered as 15446 of 2024, on merits and in accordance with law, by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
