The present peon has been filed under Arcles 226 and 227 of the Constuon of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Cerorari for se/ng aside the impugned order dated 23.04.2026 (Annexure P-2), whereby the applicaon for temporary release/parole under Secon 3(1)(A) & (D) of the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1962, & Amendment Act, 2015 (amended up to date), seeking parole, has been rejected 2. Counsel for the peoner has handed over the medical report of the peoner’s ailing mother to the State counsel. 3. State counsel seeks me to verify the medical condion of peoner’s mother. 4. Counsel for the peoner submits that he wants to withdraw the present peon with liberty to file an applicaon for interim suspension of sentence in the appeal filed by the peoner challenging the convicon, which is pending before this Court. 5. Given above, the present peon stands disposed of having been withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. All pending miscellaneous applicaons, if any, stand disposed of.
