1. At the outset, learned counsel for petitioners submits that he is not pressing this writ petition on merits and only praying to pass similar order as passed on 17.7.2025 in WPS No.7234/2025, filed by the persons similarly situated to petitioners herein, permitting petitioners therein to submit representation before the competent authority and in turn, the competent authority was directed to consider and decide the same taking note of Notification dated 14.10.1992.
2. Learned State Counsel submits that as the petitioners are not pressing this writ petition on merits and only praying of
3 identical order as passed in cases of other similarly situated employees, he is having no objection in grant of such relief.
3. Heard learned counsel for respective parties.
4. On due consideration of submission of learned counsel for petitioners, this writ petition stands disposed of in terms of
order dated 17.7.2025 passed in WPS No.7234/2025. Let petitioners submit fresh representation before the competent authority for redressal of their grievance as raised in this writ petition. If petitioners file such representation, the competent authority shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of representation, in light of the Notification dated 14.10.1992.
