1. This revisional application seeks expeditious disposal of Matrimonial Suit No.1010 of 2022 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court - III, Barrackpore.
2. In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed, prior service of notice of the revisional application along with a notice is not being directed, however, the petitioner shall remain obliged to serve a copy of the revisional application along with a copy of this order upon the opposite party within a week from date.
3. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the suit is not being able to proceed further in view of the pendency of an application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 filed by the opposite party.
4. It is submitted that the said application was filed sometime in the year 2023.
5. Having heard the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, this revisional application is disposed
of by requesting the learned Trial Court to dispose of the application under Section 24 of the said Act of 1955 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from the next date fixed without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. Thereafter, the learned Trial Court shall proceed to dispose of the suit, as expeditiously as the business of the learned Court shall permit.
6. CO 783 of 2026 stands disposed of without any order as to costs.
7. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied as expeditiously as possible. (Om Narayan Rai, J.) 2
