The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No. 232 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under 305 and 331(3) of the B.N.S. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner has committed theft of ornaments of gold and silver over 6 lakhs and cash of Rs.6,000/-. It is next submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is then submitted that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and only on the basis of the confessional statement of the co-accused person, he has been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It is next submitted that the co-accused person has been admitted to bail by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide B.A. No. 1711 of 2026 dated 30.03.2026. It is next submitted that the petitioner undertakes that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the informant or witnesses of the case. It is lastly submitted petitioner has been in custody since 02.09.2025 as mentioned in para-01 & 13 of the bail application. So far, no witness has been examined though, charge-sheet has been submitted against the petitioner. Hence it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail. Learned A.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail. Considering the facts of this case, the above-named pet itioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J.M. XXIV at Ranchi in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No. 232 of 2025 with the condition that he will co- operate with the trial of the case and furnish his mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the court below with an undertaking that he will not change his mobile number during the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the informant or witnesses of the case in any manner during the trial of the case.
