HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE MR. SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE SANGEETA SHARMA Order 21/01/2026 This is a wholly frivolous appeal filed by the State.
[2026:RJ-JP:2684-DB] (2 of 2) [SAW-1477/2025] We notice that the learned Single Judge has decided the writ petition on the basis of a consent order. We further notice that the learned Single Judge observed as under:
“Learned counsel for the respondent-State has not refuted the above said contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner.” Thus, the judgments relied upon before the learned Single Judge were accepted to be squarely applicable to the case. In these circumstances, no case for filing an appeal is made out. The appeal is accordingly dismissed. All pending application(s) also stand disposed of.
