For Petitioner : Mr.C.Kishore For R1 : Mr.M.Sarangan Additional Government Pleader For R2 and R3 : Mr.R.Shankarganesh ORDER The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to permit the petitioner, who claims to be the Hereditary Thantric of Arulmigu Parthasarathi Thirukovil, Parvathipuram, Puthukadai, Kanyakumari District, to perform the Thantric rituals in the upcoming festival, by considering his representation dated 21.03.2026. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's right has already been recognized; however, he was suddenly not being permitted to perform the Thantric rituals for the upcoming festival. 3. When the matter was taken up for admission, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3, on instructions, submitted that there had been certain differences between some devotees of the temple and the petitioner. However, it was further submitted that the issues have since been resolved and that the temple has now decided to continue with the petitioner for performing the said poojas. 4. In view of the above submission, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. Recording the submission made on behalf of the temple, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
