The present contempt petition arises out of the alleged non-compliance of the order dated 03.02.2026 passed in WPS No. 1243 of 2026. 2. Perusal of the order dated 03.02.2026 would show that this Court had directed the petitioner to submit a fresh representation before respondent No. 1 and, upon such representation being filed, respondent No. 1 was directed to consider and decide the same preferably within a period of three weeks. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner himself has not submitted any representation before respondent No. 1. However, a representation dated 20.02.2026 was submitted through counsel, but no representation has been filed by the petitioner in his personal capacity till date. 4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. From perusal of the pleadings and consideration of the submissions made, it appears that the direction issued by this Court was specifically to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation. However, from the pleadings and documents annexed with the contempt petition, it is evident that no such representation has been submitted by the petitioner himself. 6. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant contempt petition with liberty to file a fresh representation before the concerned authority, i.e., the Secretary, Public Works Department, in terms of the order dated 03.02.2026 passed in WPS No. 1243 of 2026. 7.
