The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct resopndent Sstate authority to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 23.09.2025 (Annexure P/8) positively. 2 10.3 That, the Hon’ble High Court kindly issue Writ of Mandamus to the Respondent to declare Comparative Indian Literature is allied subject of English. 10.3 Any other relief or reliefs which this Hon’ble Court may think proper in view of the facts and circumstances of the case may also kindly be granted.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the State Government has issued an order on 26.03.2026 mentioning the subjects and the allied subjects for the purpose of appointment of Assistant Professors by way of direct recruitment. In the said list, subject English is not mentioned as also, its allied subjects. Petitioner after coming across the order dated 26.03.2026 has submitted representation before the Respondent No. 2, however, till date no decision has been taken. He further submits that in the facts of the case, direction be issued to the Respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 23.09.2025 (Annexure P/8) at the earliest. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respective respondents submits that they are having no objection to the limited prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner. They however submit that the petitioner could have also submitted fresh representation before the Respondent No. 1 as the order dated 23.03.2026 is issued by the State Government. 4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to submit fresh comprehensive representation before the Respondents No. 1 & 2 and direction be issued to the concerned respondents to consider and take decision on the representation at the earliest within specific time frame. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 3 6. In view of the submissions made by the counsel for the parties, facts and circumstances of the case and considering that grievance of the petitioner is that subject English is not forming part of the order dated 23.03.2026 as also, the list published and enclosed along with advertisement which was published in the year 2019. Petitioner has already submitted representation before the Respondent No. 2 which has not been considered till date. In the aforementioned facts of the case and considering the submissions of the counsel for respective parties, the writ petition at this stage is disposed of permitting the petitioner to submit fresh comprehensive representation along with all supporting documents before the Respondents No. 1 & 2 and in the event petitioner submits representation, the concerned authorities shall consider and take decision on the representation to be submitted by the petitioner in an objective manner in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of representation. 7.
