Marital disputes arose between the petitioner no.1 and the respondent no.2, which resulted in filing of the present FIR on 29th April, 2024. 7. Now, the parties have settled their disputes in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 8th December, 2025, executed before Counselling Cell, Family Courts, North District, Rohini Courts, which has been placed on record as Annexure P-2 to the petition. 10. The petitioners are also present in Court and have been identified by their counsel. They affirm the statement of the respondent no.2 and undertake to abide by the terms of settlement arrived at between the parties. 11. Considering the above settlement between the parties, no useful purpose would be served by continuing with the proceedings of the present FIR and it would be an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the present FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. 12. Consequently, the FIR No.0419/2024 registered at P.S. Narela Industrial Area and the proceedings pursuant thereto are quashed. 13. The petition stands disposed of accordingly. AMIT BANSAL, J SEPTEMBER 25, 2026 Rzu This is a digitally signed order.
