This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with following prayers:- "It is, therefore, respectfully prayed that this writ petition may kindly be accepted and allowed and this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to:- i. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondents to grant relaxation in the age of retirement of the petitioner from 60 years to 65 years, in terms of the applicable Government Circular; ii. Direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue in service till attaining the age of 65 years, with all consequential benefits; iii. Pass any other appropriate order or relief as may be deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case in favour of the petitioner. iv. The controversy involved in the instant petition has been considered and resolved by this Court recently in the case of Bhanwar Singh Vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors. (S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.14328/2025) decided on 05.03.2026, where after considering Rule 11 of the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Post Rules, 2022, it has been held that a contractual employee cannot be continued to work after attaining the age of 60 years. 3. In view of above, there is no substance in the writ petition filed by the petitioner and the same, is hereby, dismissed in the light of decision of this Court in the case of Bhanwar Singh (supra). 4.
