Hence, the plaintiffs herein have filed a subsequent suit in C.S. No. 259 of 2016 before this court and thereafter, owing to a revision in the pecuniary jurisidiction of this Court the said suit was transferred to the V Additional City Civil Court, Chennai and renumbered as O.S. No. 3932 of 2019. Since, both the suits are on the same cause of action and between the same parties and involve common questions of law, this application has been filed by the defendants sudhakar and sheela chandran in both the suits to be tried, heard and disposed of jointly. 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis A.No.1060 of 2026 3.Heard the learned counsel for the applicants and the learned counsel for the respondent(s) who submits that he has no counter and has got no objection in allowing this application. 4.Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this application and the fact that both the suits have been filed between the same parties on the validity of the series of settlement deeds pertaining to the same property and to avoid multiplicity of proceedings, this application is allowed.
