P.P. --- 04/13.07.2026 Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in connection with Dumka (M) P.S. Case No. 27 of 2025, registered under Sections 318(4), 338, 336(3), 336(4) and 340(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and sections 66(C) & 66(D) of Information Technology Act, now pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Dumka. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 14.02.2026. He submits that charge-sheet has already been submitted. 4. Learned counsel for the opposite party- State, on the other hand, has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that defrauded amount has been credited in the account of the petitioner. He also submits that as per the impugned order, the petitioner has criminal antecedent. 5. After hearing the learned counsels for the parties, this Court finds that as per the prosecution case, on 25.01.2025 the local MLA got complaint from various persons that the money relating to Maiya Samman Scheme and Abua Aawas Scheme were being siphoned off from their accounts. It was alleged that someone took their finger prints and Aadhar numbers on the pretext of giving mosquito net and thereafter, the money was siphoned off and it was this money which was found in the account of the petitioner. This Court also finds that as per the impugned order dated 25.05.2026, the petitioner has criminal antecedent. In view of the aforesaid fact that amount 2026:JHHC:20594 2 disbursed to beneficiaries of social welfare schemes were siphoned off and found credited in the bank account of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and hence, this bail application is rejected. 6.
