By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has assailed impugned transfer order dated 18.03.2026 (Annexure P-1), in terms whereof, the petitioner has been transferred from the Office of Joint Commissioner (Excise) CZ Mandi, H.P. to the Office of Deputy Commissioner (Excise) Kullu, District Kullu, 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:9887 H.P. 3. On a query put to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Court stands informed that the petitioner has been serving in Mandi for the last more than four years, however, he submits that the petitioner is to superannuate in less than two years. 4. In view of this fact, this petition is disposed of with the direction that let representation (Annexure P-2) filed by the petitioner, be considered and decided by the competent Authority, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of three weeks from today. Till then, the petitioner shall not be forced to join at Kullu and he can avail the kind of leave due to him. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
