ORDER:-
The petitioner is challenging the de novo enquiry on the allegations made by respondent Nos.4 to 6. It is submitted that the enquiry report dated 11.05.2005 was submitted and the allegations against the petitioner were not proved in the enquiry report dated 11.05.2005. However, the 2nd respondent has proposed to appoint another enquiry committee on the same set of allegations and appointed the 3rd respondent as an enquiry officer. It is further submitted that the petitioner college has surrendered the aid to the State in the year 2024 and as on date the college is no longer functioning as an aided college.
2. The learned Assistant Government Pleader, appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3 submits that as on date the proposed enquiry has not commenced. Considering the submission that the college is no longer an aided college, no purpose would be served in proceeding further with the proposed enquiry which is impunged in the present writ petition. On these considerations and in view of the changed circumstances, no further orders are required in this writ petition.
3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
