This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking the quashment of the impugned order dated 19.02.2020 issued Digitally signed by AJAY KUMAR DWIVEDI DN: cn=AJAY KUMAR DWIVEDI, ou=HIGH COURT, o=HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, st=Chhattisgarh, c=IN 2 by the Under Secretary, School Education Department, Raipur, and a direction to the respondent State to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Principal and for the grant of consequential benefits with interest. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned order for the termination of the petitioner from the post of Teacher has been passed on the ground that his caste certificate is forged. He further submits that the impugned order is not sustainable and same is based on an order passed by the High Power Caste Scrutiny Committee. Against the order passed by the Committee, the petitioner has also filed a separate writ petition bearing WPS No. 284/2020, which is still pending consideration. 3. Learned State counsel submits that until and unless the aforesaid writ petition bearing WPS No. 284/2020 is decided, no order can be passed in favour of the petitioner and, as such, this petition may be disposed of. 4. Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, since the fate of this petition will be based on the final outcome of WPS No.284/2020, which is stated to be filed by the petitioner, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the present petition pending. 5. Hence, at this stage, this writ petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition after the final decision of writ petition WPS No. 284/2020, if required. 6. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of. Sd/- (Naresh Kumar Chandravanshi) Judge Ajay
