BENGALURU - 560 001. …RESPONDENTS
THIS REVIEW PETITION IS FILED UNDER SECTION 114 R/W ORDER 47 RULE 1 OF CPC 1908, PRAYING TO REVIEW THE FINAL ORDER DATED 02.03.2023 PASSED IN W.P.
No.2505/2023 PASSED BY THIS HONBLE COURT WHICH IS PRODUCED HEREWITH AS ANNEXURE-A.
THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY,
ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER:
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE D K SINGH and HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.G.S. KAMAL
ORAL ORDER (PER: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.G.S.KAMAL)
This review petition is by respondent No.2 in W.P.No.2505/2023 which was dismissed by this Court vide
order dated 02.03.2023 for non-compliance of requirement of Rule 214(2)(b)(i)(ii) of Karnataka Civil Services Rules. While dismissing the writ petition, this Court had however reserved liberty to the petitioner-State to initiate fresh action if so advised within the limited period.
2. The respondent No.2 in the said writ petition is seeking review of the aforesaid order contending that it was not

notified about the writ petition before disposal and that entrustment of enquiry would amount to grant of sanction.
3. We are not persuaded with the said submission. Besides, respondent No.2 cannot step into the shoes of petitioner-State which was specifically directed to initiate the proceedings if permissible under law. No error apparent on the face of the record is made out warranting review of the order.
Petition lacks merit, accordingly dismissed.
