The learned A.P.P. has tendered an affidavit-in-reply across the bar, stating therein that, after the notice was issued by this Court, the concerned Police Officer issued intimation to non-applicant No. 2/victim. It is further stated that the concerned police personnel visited the address of the applicant. It reveals that, during the pendency of the present application, the applicant-convict Sudhakar Pandhari Pillare died on 03/04/2025 at village Kahali, Tahsil Brahmapuri, District Chandrapur. The death certificate issued by the Registrar under the Registration of Births and Deaths Act is annexed to the reply. 03. Since the applicant-convict died during the pendency of the application, the application stands abated. Accordingly, the application is disposed of as abated. 04. The professional fees of the learned Counsel appointed for the applicant be quantified and paid in accordance with the rules.
