RESPONDENTS Mr. Vishal Naik, Advocate for the Petitioner. Mr. Shubham S. Priolkar, Additional Government Advocate for Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 and 5. Mr. Vinoj Daniel, Advocate for Respondent No. 4. CORAM:- VALMIKI MENEZES & AMIT S. JAMSANDEKAR, JJ. DATED :- 14th October, 2026 P.C.
1. We have considered the grievances raised in this petition and the reliefs sought therein. Since many of the contentions raised by the Petitioner in the petition would require the Directorate of Education to perhaps inspect the School premises or to call for a report from the Assistant District Education Inspector, it would be more appropriate if these grievances were placed before the Director, Directorate of Education, who would consider this in the light of the aforementioned observations.
2. We, therefore, refrain from passing any orders or granting any 14th October, 2026 2026:BHC-GOA:2097-DB
28 PILWP 60 2026 relief in this petition but instead direct the Petitioner to place a copy of the petition before the Directorate of Education within a week from today, which shall be treated as a representation/complaint.
3. Thereafter, the Director shall hear the Petitioner and the Respondent No. 6 after giving Respondent No. 6, an opportunity to place their reply on record and after taking such site inspections as the Director deems fit or calling for such reports as he may require, take such action as he deems fit in accordance with the provisions of the Education Act and the rules from therein.
4. The Director shall complete the entire process within a period of four months from today.
5. The Petition stands disposed of with the aforementioned directions.
