The petitioner is an accused in the case registered under Sections 25(1-B)(a) and 26 of the Arms Act. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has not committed any offence as alleged. The petitioner was not named in the first information report. His name has surface in course of investigation on the alleged confessional statement of co- accused-Tofik Ansari. There is no recovery of any arms/ammunition from the possession of the petitioner. Said co-accused has already been granted bail by the Sessions Judge, Palamau vide order dated 13th August, 2025 passed in B.P. No.472 of 2025. Though the petitioner has criminal antecedent, yet so far as the present case is concerned, he has been implicated in this case without any cogent evidence. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 15th July, 2025. Hence, he may be given the privilege of regular bail. 3. Learned APP opposes the petitioner’s prayer for regular bail. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the materials available on record, the petitioner above named is directed 2026:JHHC:5147 2 to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount, each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Palamau at Daltonganj in connection with Chhattarpur P.S.
