JUSTICE SANDEEP TANEJA Order 16/01/2026 1. Instant contempt petition has been filed by and on behalf of UCO Bank, alleging disobedience/ non-compliance of the order dated 22.07.2024 passed in D.B. Special Appeal (Writ) No.1088/2022 in respect of not handing over the original title documents by KVIC to Bank. 2. An another contempt petition being D.B. Civil Contempt Petition No. 1066/2025 has also been filed by and on behalf of [2026:RJ-JP:2035-DB] (2 of 2) [CCP-1034/2024] auction-purchaser, alleging disobedience of the same order dated 22.07.2024, in respect of not handing over the original title documents to him. In this contempt petition, vide order dated 08.01.2026, time up to 16.01.2026 was granted to the KVIC to handover the original documents to Bank and in furtherance thereto, the State Director, KVIC has handed over the original title documents with inventory to the Branch Manager of UCO Bank today itself i.e. on 16.01.2026. The inventory has been taken on record in that contempt petition. 3. In view of above, counsel appearing on behalf of UCO Bank does not dispute the compliance of the order dated 22.07.2024 and does not press this contempt petition, at this stage. 4.
