JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI ORAL ORDER The present writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer: WHEREFORE, the Petitioners most respectfully pray that this Hon'ble Court kindly be pleased to; a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, thereby directing the respondent No. 2,3,4 5, 6 and 7 to remove the name of the petitioner N V Krishna from the final ineligible voter list at Annexure - D and include the name of the petitioner in the final eligible voter list and permit the petitioner to cast his vote in the upcoming election of Directors of the Governing Body of the Mandya District Cooperative Union Ltd., i.e., the 7th respondent society, which is scheduled to be held on 24-05-2026 vide Annexure - C, in so far as the petitioner is concerned. b) Pass such other orders as may be appropriate in the facts and circumstances of the case by allowing this Writ Petition, in the interest of justice and equity. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:25300 WP No. 15925 of 2026 2. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3. Learned AGA submits that the writ petition has become infructuous as the election has already been conducted and the results have also been declared. Therefore, the petition has become infructuous. 4. Considering the nature of the prayer sought and fact that the elections have already been conducted and the results declared, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. 5.
