This appeal is directed against the order dated 17.04.2026 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Lohardaga in M.C.A. No. 158 of 2026 in connection with S.T. No. 28 of 2026 arising out of Bhandra P.S. Case No. 65/2024, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that two persons were apprehended by the police and several arms and ammunitions were recovered from their possession. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has been implicated on the disclosure made by the apprehended accused Kundan Gope and Chiranjeev Krishna and both have been granted bail in Criminal Appeal (DB) No. 428 of 2025 and Criminal Appeal (DB) No. 1609 of 2024. Learned counsel adds that the appellant is in custody since 14.11.2025. Learned APP though has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant, but has not disputed the aforesaid facts. Regard being had to the manner of implication of the appellant, we while setting aside the order dated 17.04.2026 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Lohardaga in M.C.A. No. 158 of 2026 in connection with S.T. No. 28 of 2026 arising out of Bhandra P.S. Case No. 65/2024, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like mount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Lohardaga in connection with S.T.
