CRL.M.C. 7177/2026 inasmuch as the petitioner did not know that there was a live cartridge in his baggage. 5. In my considered view, in the present case, it cannot be said that the petitioner was in conscious possession of the alleged live cartridge. There was only a single live cartridge that was recovered from the baggage of the petitioner. Furthermore, the petitioner has no criminal antecedents. Therefore, no useful purpose would be served by continuing with the proceedings arising out of the present FIR. 6. In such peculiar facts and circumstances, the FIR No.0364/2024 dated 25th May, 2024 under Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station IGI Airport and the proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed. 7. The petition along with pending applications stands disposed of. AMIT BANSAL, J SEPTEMBER 24, 2026 Rzu This is a digitally signed order.
