The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner belongs to the Christian community and, therefore, the petitioner is required to produce a succession certificate issued by the jurisdictional court under the Indian Succession Act for claiming the amounts. 3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to obtain a succession certificate from the jurisdictional court.
