Ms. Suvasree Ghose … for the WBSEDCL The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-supply of a fresh electricity connection for running a submersible pump, which belongs to the petitioner. On behalf of the respondent-WBSEDCL, it is submitted that due to techno-feasible reasons, it is neither viable nor commercially practical to provide any such connection to the petitioner. By an order dated 30th April, 2026, the petitioner was granted an opportunity to take instruction in the matter. In view of the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner that there are no techno-feasible reasons in not granting a fresh electricity connection, the disputes between the parties cannot be redressed in this summary proceeding. WPA 8819 of 2026 stands dismissed. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to take necessary steps in accordance with law, if so advised. (Ravi Krishan Kapur, J.)
