JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI ORAL ORDER The present writ petition is filed seeking the following prayer: "PRAYER It is humbly prayed that this Honourable court may be pleased to : 1. Issue a direction to the second respondent to conduct an enquiry under section 25 of the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 into the affairs of the 3rd respondent society; 2. Direct the respondents not to hold any election to the governing body of the third respondent till the completion of the enquiry; and 3. Pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit to pass in the interests of justice and equity." 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the first petitioner has given a representation dated 13.05.2026 to the respondent No.2. The petitioners are seeking a direction to the respondent No.2 to conduct an enquiry under Section 25 of the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 and also sought an interim relief to stay the election of the governing body which is scheduled to be held on 27.05.2026. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:25303 WP No. 15985 of 2026 3. This Court is not inclined to grant the interim relief as sought for. However, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 13.05.2026. Hence, this Court is passing the following: ORDER i. The respondent No.2 shall consider the representation dated 13.05.2026 in accordance with law by giving an opportunity to all the concerned. ii. This Court is not proposing to issue notice to respondent Nos.4 and 5 as no adverse orders are passed against them and respondent No.2/Deputy Registrar has to issue notice to all the parties before passing any order. iii.
