Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in connection with Cyber Crime Ranchi P.S. Case No. 42 of 2025, registered under Sections 319(2), 336(3) and 340(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and sections 66(B), 66(C) and 66(D) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, now pending in the court of learned A.J.C.-II-cum-Special Judge, Cyber Crime and Drugs & Cosmetics, Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.08.2025 and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He also submits that charge-sheet has already been submitted. 4. Learned counsel for the opposite party- State, on the other hand, has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that as per the complaint, an individual impersonated himself by using a fake display picture with image of the complainant and attempted to deceive Chief Finance Officer of the complainant’s company to transfer a substantial amount of 88 lakhs by posing a financial risk to his organization. The impugned order itself reveals that the petitioner has as many as 9 criminal cases against him. 5. Considering the nature of allegation and the manner it has been committed and the petitioner having numerous criminal antecedents, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and hence, this bail application is rejected. 2026:JHHC:20132 2 6.
