ORAL ORDER
1. Accused in Crime No.511/2025 registered by Bagalagunte Police Station, Benglauru, for the offences punishable under Sections 305, 318(2) and 318(4) of BNS, 2023, is before this Court under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking anticipatory bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned HCGP appearing on behalf of the respondent - State.

FIR in Crime No.511/2025 was registered by Bagalagunte Police Station, Benglauru, for the aforesaid offences against the petitioner herein, based on the first information dated 13.12.2025 received from Mukesh Sing Ravath, father of the victim girl aged about 21 years. Apprehending arrest in the case, petitioner had filed Crl.Misc.No.2319/2026 before the jurisdictional Sessions Court, which was rejected on
26.03.2026. It is under these circumstances, he is before this Court.

Perusal of the first information in the present case would go to show that allegation against the petitioner is that he had given false assurance of loving the victim girl and was in a live- in relationship with her. It is alleged that he had misused nearly a sum of Rs.75,00,000/- belonging to the victim girl and also stolen her gold jewellery weighing about 550 grams. It is further alleged that he had misused the credit card of the second daughter of the first informant and misappropriated nearly a sum of Rs.1,50,000/-. It is further alleged that petitioner has thereafter cheated the daughters of the first informant and it is under these circumstances, FIR in Crime No.511/2025 was registered against the petitioner for the aforesaid offences.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has made available a copy of the order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Crl.P.No.1029/2026 disposed off on 24.03.2026. A reading of the said order and the material on record would go to show that on 13.12.2025, another FIR was registered by the very same police station in Crime No.510/2025 against the petitioner herein based on the first information submitted by

the very same first informant, for the offences punishable under Sections 376(2)(n) and 506 of IPC and Section 5(l) and 6 of the POCSO Act, 2012. In the said case, petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody. It appears that subsequently the police have taken petitioner's custody in the present case under body warrant.
6. Learned HCGP submits that petitioner has co-operated with the police for the purpose of investigation. Insofar as Crime No.510/2025 is concerned, petitioner is granted regular bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Crl.P.No.1029/2026. Under the circumstances, I am of the opinion that the prayer made by the petitioner in the present case for grant of anticipatory bail needs to be answered affirmatively. Accordingly, the following:-
7. The petition is allowed. The respondent - Police or any other police in the State of Karnataka are directed to release the petitioner in the event of his arrest in Crime No.511/2025 registered by Bagalagunte Police Station, Benglauru, for the offences punishable under Sections 305, 318(2) and 318(4) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions:

1. The Petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer within 15 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the investigating officer.
2. Petitioner shall regularly appear before the Trial Court without fail unless exempted by the Trial Court for valid reasons.
3. Petitioner shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses and he shall co-operate with the police for investigation and appear before them whenever called upon.
4. The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future.
