The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Gidhour PS Case No.33 of 2025, for offence registered under section 303(2), 317(2), 3(5) of BNS, 2023, pending in court of learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Chatra. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be owner of the truck which is a commercial vehicle and the said vehicle was under the custody of the driver and the allegations are made of carrying stolen DI Pipes. He also submits that the driver and co-driver have been granted regular bail by this Court. He next submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.21 of the petition. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the petitioner happened to be owner of the said vehicle. 5. Considering that the said vehicle was being driven by 2026:JHHC:20299 2 the driver and the co-driver and they have been granted regular bail by this Court and the petitioner is said to be owner of the said vehicle and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as aforesaid, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within three weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Chatra, in connection with Gidhour PS Case No.33 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
