Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. 2. This writ petition is filed by the petitioner assailing the order dated 22.10.2024 (Annexure-A), wherein, the respondent - Government has taken a decision to withdraw grant-in-aid to the petitioner - College. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a representation has been given to the third respondent by the Lecturers employed by the petitioner as per Annexure-F to the Writ Petition and the respondents be directed to consider the said representation in a prospective manner by granting aid to the petitioner - Institution. 4. Perusal of the writ papers would indicate that the petitioner has not maintained requisite number of students for I and II Year PUC during the academic years from 2019-20 to 2024-25, as per Annexure-D to the Writ Petition. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12777 WP No.10815 of 2025 5. Taking into consideration the provision contained in Rule 21(4) of the Karnataka Pre-University Education (Academic, Registration, Administration and Grant-in-Aid etc.) Rules, 2006, I am of the view that, there is no error in the impugned order dated 22.10.2024 at Annexure-A, issued by the first respondent. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. 7. It is made clear that since the examination for PUC students is in progress, and in that view of the matter, in the interest of students, the respondent - authority shall not precipitate the matter against the petitioner - Institution till the conclusion of the PUC examination.
