This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :- “a) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, including a writ of CERTIORARI, quashing and/or setting aside the decision/order/list dated 10.09.2026 insofar as it rejects the nomination/candidature of the Petitioner, Ritesh Bansal, Roll No. 25/101440, on the ground of "Attendance Short"; b) Issue a writ of MANDAMUS directing the Respondents to produce before this Hon'ble Court the complete original attendance records of the Petitioner for the relevant academic period, including subject-wise attendance registers, attendance sheets, attendance calculation sheets, records This is a digitally signed order. Since the elections are being held today, the petition has become infructuous. 3. It appears that this may be the reason that there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner. 4.
