This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of six months. 2. Present arbitral pertain to a contract for “Receiving Terminals at Guwahati for Barauni-Guwahati Pipe Line Project of GAIL (INDIA) Ltd” dated 03.01.2019. Disputes having arisen between the parties, Sole Arbitrator was appointed to adjudicate the disputes. By order dated 17.03.2026, this Court extended the mandate of the Arbitrator till 17.09.2026 in O.M.P (Misc.)(Comm.) 227/2026. Mandate having expired, this petition has been filed for extension for pronouncement of the arbitral award. This is a digitally signed order.
