The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Katkamsandi P.S. Case No.114 of 2025 for the alleged offences registered under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 109(1), 351(2), 352 and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Hazaribag. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there are case and counter case between the parties and the altercation took place due to drainage of water. On this ground, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that although there are case and counter case, however, there is direct allegation against the petitioner of assault by way of baton upon the informant and in view of that anticipatory 2026:JHHC:20295 --2-- A.B.A. No. 3708 of 2026 bail may kindly be rejected. 5. Considering that there is direct allegation against the petitioner of assault by way of baton upon the informant pursuant to that the informant has received grievous injury and in view of that I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
