The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with POCSO Case No.86 of 2025, arising out of Chainpur P.S. Case No.263 of 2025 instituted for the offence under sections 115(2), 126(2), 140(4), 352, 351(2) of the B.N.S., 2023 and under section 04 and 06 of the POCSO Act. Later on, section 3(i)(r)(s)/3(r)(v) of the S.C. / S.T. Act were also added. 3. The petitioner is accused of committing sexual assault with a minor child aged about 9 years. 4. The petitioner is in custody since 23.05.2025. He is accused in one more case of similar nature. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.18124 of 2026(6) dt.23-06-2026 2/2 5. Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, which has been supported by the victim, and also the fact that he is accused in one more criminal case of similar nature, I am not inclined to grant him bail.
