The petitioner is an accused in connection with Pathalgadda P.S. Case No. 54 of 2025, pending in the Court learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, NDPS Cases, Chatra. The petitioner and another accused were apprehended from inside an I-20 car and 4.72 Kg. of semi liquid opium was recovered from the car. Though it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there are some discrepancies with respect to the apprehension of the petitioner as well as the place from where he was apprehended, but regard being had to the fact that the commercial quantity of opium was recovered, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is hereby rejected at this stage.
