Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-temple. 3. The case of the petitioners herein is that even though the petitioners’ committee was appointed for a specific purpose for conducting festival of Sri Rama Navami from 25.03.2026 to 31.03.2026 at 6th respondent temple by the 2nd respondent vide his proceedings dated 09.03.2026. But the authorities of the respondent temple are creating obstruction and not allowing the 5 petitioners’ committee to perform the festival as directed by the 2nd respondent. Hence, the Writ Petition. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the subject committee was appointed only to monitor and conduct festival of Sri Rama Navami from 25.03.2026 to 31.03.2026. Due to the obstructions made by the temple authorities, having no other option, the petitioner preferred this Writ Petition. He further submits that after filing the Writ Petition, the respondent authorities especially temple authorities allowed the committee to perform the festival peacefully as directed by the 2nd respondent vide proceedings dated 09.03.2026. The said specific purpose is completed by today, hence no further orders are necessary. 5. Learned Standing Counsel for respondent-temple submits that the petitioners’ committee was allowed to conduct subject festival at the temple from 25.03.2026 to 31.03.2026 without there being any obstructions as envisaged by respondent No.2 vide proceedings dated 09.03.2026. Since the committee itself is appointed for a specific purpose and which is already completed by today, the petitioners’ committee cannot be continued for any other purpose. 6. In view of the submissions made by both the learned counsel and on perusal of the material placed on record, this Court is of the considered opinion that since the committee was appointed for a specific purpose i.e., for conducting Sri Rama Navami festival and for a specific period i.e., from 6 25.03.2026 to 31.03.2026 and since the specific purpose as well as time period is already completed, no further orders are necessary. 7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall also stand closed. ________________________________ VENKATESWARLU NIMMAGADDA, J 31.03.2026 TPS 7 46 THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE VENKATESWARLU NIMMAGADDA WRIT PETITION NO: 8285/2026 31.03.2026 TPS
