JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ ORAL ORDER 1. Learned AGA accepts notice for respondents No.1 and 2. 2. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs; a. Declare that the Memorandum dated 02.03.2026 passed by the District Registrar, Jigani, Bengaluru District, Bengaluru in JiNOBA/RGN/101/2025-26 is produced at Annexure-C is illegal and quash the same; b. Allow this writ petition with costs; and c. Grant any other relief/s as this Hon’ble Court deems fit to grant in the interests of justice. 3. What has been challenged is a memorandum dated 02.03.2026 which has been issued by respondent No.1 as regards a document registered as Document No.3050 of 25-26 in the office of the respondent No.2, on the ground that there is an impersonation which has taken place and proceedings are proposed to be initiated under Sections 82 and 83 of the Indian Registration Act, 1908. 4. It is for the petitioner to reply to the said memorandum and place the relevant facts and documents on record, which would have to be considered by respondent No.1 - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:25407 WP No. 15470 of 2026 before further proceeding with the action under Section 82 and 83 of the Indian Registration Act, 1908. 5. The said memorandum is in the nature of a show-cause notice. As such, the petitioner cannot maintain a writ seeking quashing of the said show-cause notice. 6. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to reply to the memorandum dated 02.03.2026, which reply shall be furnished on or before 30.06.2026 and directing respondent No.1 to pass necessary orders thereon within two weeks from the date of receipt of the reply by the petitioner, the petition stands disposed.
